ENTRELACS

Intertwined Ceramic Sculpture Collection

With this collection, Franck Scala continues his exploration of the impact of time and elements on matter and on life itself. His intertwined ceramic sculptures, raw or glazed, evoke remnants of organic or mineral forms — like fossils suspended in time.

Eroded rocks, fossils, fragments of plants or corals — sometimes barely recognizable, so far have they decayed — these interwoven shapes stand as silent witnesses to an organic or mineral past.

Between abstraction and figuration, his works capture the imprint of elapsed time and invite a tactile, contemplative experience.
